Spanish Teacher Email Phone: 920-583-3141 Hello Oakfield! I was born and raised in Racine, WI. I have a Master's degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee in Spanish Language and Literature. While earning my degree, I was a teaching assistant for introductory Spanish at Marquette. It was then I knew I could pass my passion and enthusiasm for Spanish language and culture onto others through teaching. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to many destinations, including Nicaragua, Colombia, and Cuba. In fact, I have been to Cuba 15 times now, and I have very good Cuban friends that I met during my time visiting the island. Other than travel, I love to do as many activities as I can outdoors, especially swimming, hiking and running. I love to explore new areas and capture scenic photos. I have also taught at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha and Elkhorn and I have substitute taught at a private high school in Milwaukee since I graduated in 2015. I am very excited to start teaching Spanish at Oakfield. There is so much to be gained from learning another language, and I can't wait to be able to speak to students in Spanish and let them know all the great things that being bilingual can offer you!
