Hi! I am so happy and thankful to have the opportunity to be a school counselor for the mighty oak high
school students for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. I grew up a stone’s throw away from
the area and have a little familiarity with it. However, I have also moved throughout the state as an
adult and enjoyed living in bigger cities as well as rural areas. My family and I have settled in a country
setting between Appleton and Oshkosh to enjoy the small-town community feeling with access to close
by larger cities.
I have just graduated in December with my master’s degree as a school counselor from Lakeland
University. There are two significant past professional roles I have held, each for just under seven years.
One was working with at risk youth and the other a consumer researcher. I believe that the role of a
school counselor will help to bridge these two positions I’ve been passionate about.
I look forward to getting to know the Oakfield students, staff, and surrounding community better in the
upcoming months!
